How often are we questioning
the context and source of what we are consuming? This was a beginning of a poster series using the soothing medium of nature to hide the fact that these are quotes by dictators. This quote in particular was said by Fidel Castro.
This project was done from morning until late afternoon and materials were found in the surroundings. Towards the end, it was a race against sunset to be able to take the photos without starting over the next day; overall, the project was almost refreshing in its impermanence.
I hope to continue this series with more quotes such as Hitler’s “The victor will never be asked if he told the truth.”
